Clinton representative named for Foreclosure Forum

Fred Hochberg, Dean of Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy in New York City, will represent Hillary Clinton at the “Fighting Foreclosure and Abandonment Forum” at Cleveland City Hall Wednesday morning.

Hochberg served as deputy then acting administrator of the Small Business Administration, then a Cabinet position, under President Bill Clinton.

He will join Obama Senior Advisor Mark Alexander at the front table.

A representative of the McCain campaign has not yet been named.

Speakers at the Forum now include Housing Court Judge Ray Pianka, County Treasurer Jim Rokakis, Cleveland Ward 10 Councilman Tony Brancatelli, Jackson Administration regional development chief Chris Warren, and panelists from a dozen community organizations and agencies including Cleveland Marshall Law School, the Housing Research and Advocacy Center, ESOP, Neighborhood Housing Services, ACORN, Cleveland Tenants Organization, CWRU’s Poverty Center, the Cleveland Neighborhood Development Coalition, the Housing Network… well, you get the picture.

You can see a live webcast of the Forum here.
