Cuyahoga County Treasurer joins in the call for Common Pleas judges to declare an immediate 90-day freeze on foreclosure cases involving occupied homes.  (Click on image for larger photo.)

Other elected officials speaking in support of the Foreclosure Freeze: Cleveland City Council members Jay Westbrook, Tony Brancatelli and Phyllis Cleveland, Garfield Heights Councilman Michael Dudley, and State Representative Mike Foley.

Also sharing the bullhorn were Inez Killingsworth of ESOP, who MC’ed the rally; Reverend Larry Harris of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church; and Mariah Crenshaw of ACORN.  (And me,)

    Gloria heard that the rally was rescheduled due to the appearance of Bill Clinton at a location close to where you were going to be. How do you suppose that rumor got legs?

    It happened two weeks ago. This was the time we rescheduled it to.
